Quantum Annealing Approaches to Graph Partitioning on the D-Wave System

Motivated by graph-based methods for quantum molecular dynamics (QMD) simulations, researchers explored graph partitioning/clustering methods and implementations that run on the D-Wave. The demonstrated “proof of principle” results on benchmark graphs, example graphs and electronic structure graphs and showed results that equal or out-perform current “state of the art” methods.
